who we are// We are designed to do life together. We all want to belong; to know that we’re genuinely accepted and valued. When you come to THE REVOLUTION you’re not just another face in the crowd. You’re an irreplaceable individual in an unshakable movement of young people who live life united under one purpose, one cause, one name—Jesus Christ.
what we say// We believe the Bible is the true Word of God. It’s not some irrelevant book of yesterday. It’s the best guide we have to tackle real life today and tomorrow. At THE REVOLUTION you’ll find we talk straight about the issues you deal with every day in a way that’s raw, passionate, and just plain funny at times.
what we do// Worship overflows out of our passion for God and it isn't an action or something we do, it's who we are and how we live. At THE REVOLUTION you’ll find we actively pursue God together as a generation of young people deeply committed to Christ. We strive to grow in our understanding and commitment to Christ. REV Groups (small groups) are the means in which we do this.
What is THE REVOLUTION?
It’s the Junior and Senior High Ministry of LifePoint Church.
When do you meet?
We have two times/locations for two groups of young people. Our REV78 group, 7th and 8th graders, meet on Sunday mornings during the second service at 10:45am at the Copper Basin K-8 School. Come to the main worship experience and then REV78 will be released together. THE REVOLUTION for 9th to 12th grade students meets on Sunday nights from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the YMCA in Copper Basin.
Does THE REVOLUTION do anything else cool?
Most definitely. We've always got random cool stuff going on—camps, retreats, trips, events, competitions, and horseback hacky-sack (well, except for that last one—due to the sheer impossibility of the sport). You'll find info on our annual over-the-top blow out events (like camps and trips) way in advance, at our services or on the web. Other activities (like hiking or bonfires or a day at the park) may just pop up out of nowhere, like an unexpected quarter in your couch, and fill the void in an otherwise dull week of teendom.
How can my parents find out what's going on?
We know, we know. Moms want to know everything about everything. And as far as THE REVOLUTION stuff is concerned, they can. We will communicate through our group nights and send stuff home, so make sure you take it home and put it on the fridge. Also, most events will be in the LifePoint handout that your parents can get at either Sunday morning service. And, they can click HERE and be taken to the events page for LifePoint. Or you can email Dave at daves@lifepointpeople.com and he'll try to get you whatever info you need.
